Important Notice for all Brazil Visa Centers
EMBASSY OF BRAZIL IN BEIJING
CONSULAR SECTION
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO VISA APPLICANTS
The consular section of the Brazilian Embassy in Beijing is aware of reports that persons acting as agents and intermediaries are engaged in the business of offering to Chinese citizens, in exchange for money, promises that they can “secure a time slot in the Visa Application Center", “ensure the quick processing” of applications for a visa, or otherwise easily obtain a Brazilian visa.
Due to the limited processing capacity of the consular section, coupled with the high demand for Brazilian visas from Chinese citizens, the waiting time for an appointment with the Visa Application Center may sometimes be longer than during certain periods of the year. This situation may be further complicated by the activities of the above-mentioned agents and intermediaries, who may, for example, create “fake appointments” in order to occupy slots that would otherwise be available to good- faith applicants. Such agents and intermediaries can engage in other practices that might disrupt the smooth functioning of the visa appointment system.
The consular section in Beijing has taken several measures to curb such deleterious practices by agents and intermediaries. The Embassy is discussing this matter with Chinese authorities who also submit visa applications to the consular section. Action has been taken, inter alia, to constantly monitor and track applications booked with the Visa Application Center in order to detect suspicious activity -in which case the corresponding applications will be rejected.
Visa applicants should also be aware that the consular section frequently rejects visa applications when the accompanying documentation (apparently prepared by agents and intermediaries) is reasonably believed to be fraudulent, suspicious, or otherwise incorrect.
As a result of all the above, if an agent or intermediary charges you extra money on a promise that he/she can “secure a time slot in the Visa Application Center", “ensure the quick processing” of your application for a visa, or otherwise easily obtain a Brazilian visa, there is a high likelihood that your application will be rejected.
Applicants seeking a visa in good faith are encouraged to book an appointment with the Visa Application Center (VAC) and submit their documentation according to the relevant guidelines. New slots for appointments are made available on the electronic portal of the VAC(https://brazil.blscn.cn) each day from Monday to Friday at 9am(Beijing time). If all documents are in order and the true purpose of the trip is clearly established, the visa request should be processed within a reasonably short period of time.
Due to limited slots, appointments are allocated to ensure timely processing. New slots are released as follows:
- Beijing and Shanghai:Daily, at 9:00 AM (BEIJING STANDARD TIME)
- Guangzhou:Weekly, every Friday, at 11:00 AM (BEIJING STANDARD TIME)
The Visa Application Center will NOT reallocate previously booked appointments that are not used for any reason (such as a “no show” or erroneous or incomplete documentation) to other applicants, under any circumstances.
We kindly request all applicants to accurately input their application form number/protocol number ( Format of protocol number: XXXXXX-XXXXXX) when scheduling appointments. Failure to do so may result in the visa center refusing your application, and, therefore, requesting a new appointment.
Please schedule appointments through our website and submit your applications according to the checklist provided. Make sure you select the correct visa category during the booking process, as applications for incorrect categories will not be accepted, and a new appointment will be required.
Please also note that all appointments are free of charge and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

To make use of the additional slots of the walk-in system, all applicants shall come IN PERSON.
The Consulate General of Brazil in Guangzhou also emphasizes that:
1. It encourages all applicants to apply by themselves. Registered agencies should be sought only when the applicant is not available to deliver documents in person or is purchasing a tour package from those companies.
2. If you decide to apply through a travel agency, please notice that only the following agencies/operators have been authorized to directly make appointments and deliver the application through an authorized courier to BLS, acting on behalf of applicants:
Genuine Travel (广州旅畅)
Guangdong (Foshan) CTS (广东中旅 (佛山)旅行社)
DIADEMA TRAVEL (GUANGZHOU) CO., LTD. 德迈国际旅行机构
GZL International Travel Service Ltd. 广州广之旅国际旅行社

4. The consulate finally reminds that this system is currently available only for the Consulate General of Brazil in Guangzhou and solely as an instrument to attempt to offer possibilities for the applicants to make appointments and deliver their documents more smoothly. The agencies already registered are acting upon strict control and are subject to being suspended at any time for breaking any rules.
5. The consulate, once more, strongly discourages applicants from seeking any agencies/operators and “huangniu” who offer “express appointment” or “express visa”, as such services do not exist and operators who sell them for profit have been negatively impacting our visa services.
6. The guide about how to apply to act a registered company/agent in Guangzhou is available on the "Important Information" Section, "Important Notice about Submitting Brazilian Visa in Guangzhou" subsection. Please read it carefully before applying.
